Good morning everyone, I am wondering what the requirements would be to bring out a group of people to spectate an event for the purpose of Motorsports photography. I manage the Richmond Camera in Carytown, and have an opportunity to work with directly with a manufacture that is bringing new technology geared to sports and Motorsports photographers. I have attended a few events in the past but no longer have an appropriate car for autocross. I understand the waiver requirement, and would not be asking for any special access. But if who would be the decision maker on this please DM me that would be fantastic, I have attempted to contact the club president but have not gotten a response. We would not be trying to sell anything, just would like to bring out equipment and photograph the event.

Thanks! Happy Cone Hunting!

Chuck

I'm looking for a good used drill press for my woodshop.

If you have one sitting and collecting dust, and want to get rid of it, please let me know.

Bench type or floor model, I'm not picky Wink

Thanks
Engelbert

In a move I'll probably regret,  it is time to move my 1999 M3 on.  I bought it in December of 2017 and have only put about 2k on it during that time.  Between a 1 year old, changing jobs, moving, race cars, etc I haven't had the time to enjoy it as much as I hope. On the plus side, it's sale of this will help fund a detached garage at the new house.  It currently has 141k on the odometer.

It has had a ton of maintenance as well as some upgrades done over the past couple of years with the majority of the "E36 things" sorted.  The one interior issue is that the liner for the sunroof has detached, but is black underneath so it's hardly noticeable.

To be completely transparent, the not so good. The Carfax has a "total loss" listed in 2013, 20k miles ago.  I've communicated back and forth with Carfax over the last year to get an understanding of what happened with little response as the car does not show any signs except the LF fender is a DOT-R replacement.  Underneath everything is straight and the even the radiator support is OEM and shows no sign of ever being removed.  Autocheck does not show any previous damage history.

As some of you know, I also do a bit of online racing with the iRacing service. Here's one of the leagues I run in, the Pro Sim Cup Racing League; they use the Pro Mazda and mirror the real-world schedule for the series. This league, like many other iRacing leauges, is broadcast live monthly.

I check the VMSC website from time to time to see how things are going.  It is gratifying to see the Club doing well.
This past Wednesday my friend John took me out in his Lotus Exige.  What a blast.  He has tracked this car at Brands Hatch.  Next week we will go a drive in his 1997 Bentley turbo R, 6.75 liter, 400hp, 580 lb ft of torque, should be fun.  Yes, both cars are right hand drive.  John is English, but keeps these cars here in Brugge.  It is nice to have friends with money, eh?

Just wanted to dig this one up in case anyone is interested. I did a track day last year with the Apex Track Events group and one last month with Dominion's in house group and both were excellent! It is a very fun track and both groups run a great event, very friendly and helpful. There are a few sketchy spots but like anything, take it easy and listen to the instructor. If you haven't been there, check it out!

Fellow Track Junkies and Racers:

MVP Track Time (www.MVPTrackTime.com) is excited to announce our 2019 track event schedule.  Another fun year of exciting on-track action awaits.  I hope you’ll join us for the on-track fun.

As usual, we have a host of exciting track events for 2019.  Visit our web site for schedule updates as 2019 progresses.  There will likely be at least one additional 2019 track event.

MVP’s goal remains the same since we began in 2006, offering you more actual track time at every track event for reasonable entry fees.  Our three-run group format (Novice, Intermediate and Advanced) offers you maximum driving time (generally 2+ hours of scheduled daily track time) instead of standing around the paddock.

Below is MVP’s 2019 schedule, subject to possible revisions as the year progresses.

February 22-24, 2019: Circuit of The Americas (Austin, TX) - SOLD OUT

April 13-14, 2019: National Corvette Museum (Bowling Green, KY) - SOLD OUT

May 6, 2019:  Autobahn Country Club (Joliet, IL) - SOLD OUT

June 8-9, 2019 :  Road America (Elkhart Lake, WI) - SOLD OUT

August 5, 2019:  Autobahn Country Club II (Joliet, IL) [Full 3.56 Mile Coarse] - “Monday at The Bahn”

August 30 - September 1, 2019 :  Mid-Ohio (Lexington, OH) – 2nd Annual “MVP OH HI OH”

October 12 - 13, 2019:  Road America (Elkhart Lake, WI) – 12th Annual “Cheese Heads On Track”

November 23-24, 2019:  Road Atlanta (Braselton, GA) – 11th Annual “Flyin’ Turkey Trot”

Registration for MVP Track Time events is available on line with Pay Pal (you can use any major credit card through the Pay Pal system) for our 2019 track events.  Click on the link below to register.
