Registration has been open for the school for a few days.  The event was created with only 30 slots available but I am told there are another 5 slots available.

The school is for NOVICES with 2 years or less experience.

You can post here or e-mail Audie Chenery.

There were 2 guys at last weeks meeting that expressed an interest in attending the school. Audie took down their names.

Any details yet? :bouncep: :bounce: :bouncep: :bounce:

What time does it start?

I'm guessing we can pay when we arrive? I haven't seen anything requesting pre-payment.

This is just a note for Audie or anyone that will be in contact with her before Saturday. I will not be able to instruct or help at the event on Saturday. My honeydew list will take me all of Saturday and I have the NASA event on sunday.

I'll try to keep this weekend open next year!

Sorry all,

Hmm, I thought Audie was going to send this out a while ago... perhaps her email system ate a few addresses. I'll post you what she sent me a few days ago, and hope she won't have my head for it Smiley

UNOFFICIAL Event info: (since it's being posted by me)

"Thanks for signing up for the VMSC
"Conedodger" School. It took a lot of doing, but I finally
got a place and I confirmed everything "again" this morning.
All the instructors are looking forward to this as I know
you are. The cost for the school is $55.00 and includes
lunch. I would appreciate you mailing a check so it reaches
me by Thursday the 17th. If this is not possible than bring
it to VMP. REMEMBER: the more checks I get ahead of time,
the less time registration will take that morning. In
addition, I need you to e-mail me your Autocross experience
so I have a good idea how I want to set up the sections and
so I can tell the instructors. (ASAP please!)

The schedule is as follows:

        GATE OPENS...............................................8:00am

        REGISTRATION............................................8:00 - 8:30
        DRIVERS MEETING......................................8:45
        INSTRUCTORS &
        STUDENTS..................................................9:00
Break-off into groups, tech cars and get
to the course section to be worked on first.
        COURSE WORK..........................................9:30 - 12:30pm
        LUNCH.......................................................12:30 - 1:30

        RUN COURSE (timed) about 5 runs each...1:30 - 3:00
        CEFTIFICATES HANDED OUT......................3:00
CLEAN-UP (stack cones, take down timing
equipment and clean up area)).........................3:15

Email CA1R-C1RAZY@p1eoplepc.c1om (take out the 1's, that's my pathetic attempt at anti-spam)
