Haha! He actually looked me up and emailed it to me, was pretty cool. And see, Beth...video proof that I left you plenty of room before moving track right to let him pass me. My fastest laps start at 7:30 of this video. There are two before the session was black flagged for a broken down car. Thanks, Gunny for letting me borrow your camera!

That video was cool! I'm working on mine (I'm not cool or fast enough to have someone take one of my car!), Yea so Marc gets the pretty girl taking pictures in his car, justin has the whole pits watching! and checking out the wagon! (it was great that a 10k car was walking all over the 150k cars!) The only person besides me who liked my car was my instructor, what gives? anyhow. I'm trying to get the gps data merged with my video, its done but its playing back at double speed. I'll post it when its done. Gunny

Hey Justin, what does each beep mean when you sometimes shift?

It's a shift indicator. I think I've got it set so there's one beep at 7800, a second one at 8000, many beeps at 8200rpm.

I combined the videos from Justin and Robert, using Justin's best lap from his video. I started both videos at start/finish and you can see how Robert makes up a good amount of time on the straight after Oak Tree. The times shown at the end of the video are my best estimate going frame by frame at start/finish. I hope you enjoy: http://youtu.be/WOj-lQjteB0?hd=1

He ran faster later on, I think like a 2:18 or so. we compared laps and I could not keep up (rcomps vs. street) most G's I could pull was about .93 and he was above 1.00. dosent matter though we could have swapped cars and he still would have ran faster! I was just checking out my car. The interior and exterior really took a beating! I did two wet sessions and at 120mph the water comes in the car like a hose! The exterior has rubber marks all over, side, hood, roof, ect.. going to spend the weekend detailing!

I guess one advantage of FWD and no torque is that I can get on the gas earlier upon corner exit.

That was a great time. The track keeps going through my mind every time I close my eyes all week long. You know you have something when people hunt you down to ask "What do you have in that Honda?" After hearing all the growing up stories, I can say "it's just Justin in that Honda!"

Speaking of remembering, don't let me forget to pick up my canopy & carpet from you. Thank you very much for taking them home in your truck so I didn't have to put them dripping into the Porsche! This weekend maybe? b.

I'm glad in retrospect I didn't run during the heavy rain session.
Had my car up on a "real" lift last weekend, and I finally saw how little tread I have left on the RE11s. Not quite slicks, but getting there!
This also explains the fishtailing I did on the drive back from VIR. Will have to be extra mindful of the weather until I get around to replacing them!

Those new re11a are out that are designed for autocross ! I'm thinking about putting a set on the caddy :-D there's also the rivals and starspec2's so many choices.

Not available in my size. On the plus side, plain RE-11's are going cheap now......
