Thanx in advance,

Hey, if I can't beat you on the course, I'll try my hardest to beat you on the boards.Cheesy
Actually, I linked to the rulebook to politely suggest he/she read it, or at least sections of.

aknapp, I'm not sure how much you know about autocross classing (and I'm not the one to talk), but your car might not be in B-Stock.  Simple modifications can change your class.  If you post here what you've done to the car, people may be able to help you.  If you read (and understand) the rulebook, you can get a better feel for what class is appropriate.

Al is fairly experienced.  You have probably seen the 'evil egg' at an event in the not to distant past.  He had a 'non-vehicular' incident involving chain link fencing at an event a few months back so I am guessing his therapist is working to get him back into venturing to the autocross.

Cheesy

just ribbing you Al.  We look forward to seeing you running in BS.  Someone has to give Mr. Ogburn a run for his money.

Yeah, I was thinking of taking up fencing... :ouch:

Car is completely stock (for now)...I look forward to competing a new class, though I will definitely miss the old one.

Also, some people would say that BS is the PERFECT class for me!  Wink

A lot of people think it is an appropriate class for a lawyer. I'm speechless.

Welcome to BS. Now we just need to get Bill Whitehead to run all year.

From my experiences, an 80's 911 on stock suspension will do both of those things almost simultaneously, depending upon where you are in each corner (and how much throttle you're using.)  I've never driven anything that required alternating amounts of abuse and finesse behind the wheel so instantly, depending upon how much weight was being transferred rearward at the time.  For me it was a very steep learning curve.  But anyone who can drive one of those fast can drive anything else fast with their eyes closed.  Enjoy!  Wink
