Just curious if anyone knows of a good Dyno Place in Richmond and surrounding areas.  Especially if they have dealt with a rotary car.

Performance Autosports out in Goochland has a 2WD Dynojet roller deal, pretty sure it has wideband O2.

It is not actually a shop but we have the business card of a guy that has a dynojet out at the ashland airport (in with one other nascar'ish shops).  It is 2wd.  We did 15 pulls on it about 2 years ago.  He is extremely reasonable (at the time he charged $100 per hour but didn't count the time you were wrenching on the car) so we got 2 hours for $100.

If your interested I will see if I can dig up his phone number.

Over heard at a recent club meeting: "Isn't dyno'ing a Miata like seeing how much weight a Super Model can lift??"

Thanks guys i will look into those two places.  All i really want to do is baseline my cars current hp rating.  The guy i bought it from never pulled on a dyno, and he performed numerous mods.  So i dont need a test-n-tune type run just like 3 runs to get an average hp at wheels.

If it is not too much of a bother the number would be great.

Performance Autosport in Goochland is 784-8851. His site is www.performanceautosport.com. The owner is Mark LaMaskin and the guy who runs the dyno is Kevin Adolph. Tell them you are a VMSC member. Mark is considering advertising in Checkpoints.

Thanks for the website link.

Would any one be interested in doing a vmsc day at performance auto sport.  Their website does state a discount is available for car clubs depending on the number of cars that go.  Just a thought.

I tried to pit one together last February, but I could never get enough commitments to get the discount. Try again. There is some interest.

Kevin at PAS has also been courteous and professional in his dealings with the RichmondDubs enthusiasts' group.

I'd be interested in going once I get my car fixed, but I have no firm date of when that will be.
