I wanted to wait until the new wireless timing equipment arrived before I called for a meeting...and since it FINALLY came in yesterday, I guess it's time!

If you've wanted to help out with timing but were afraid to learn the equipment on the day of an event, this is a perfect chance to get some hands-on training with our timing system.......For anyone who is interested, I would like to have a Timing & Scoring meeting on Saturday, February 10th starting at 10:30AM.  I figure we'll have at the same place where we have our Board meetings:

Click ME for directions

We'll set up the equipment inside the conference room and hook the laptop up to the projector.  We'll run through a few scenereos, (probably) find a few bugs in the software and maybe grab some lunch somewhere nearby afterwards.

Remember, by being on the Timing and Scoring Committee, you'll (usually) get to work inside the Timing trailer on those hot, sweaty days instead of out on the hot blacktop.Cheesy

If you're interested, send me an email through the email button on the bottom of my post or just respond here.

Thanks!

Joe

I am interested.  I have experience running the timer itself and setting up the hard-wired sensors.  Unfortunately, as of now I do not think I will be available on the 10th, but am interested in beng on the committee.

I'm interested as well, but I'm not sure if I'll be on travel that day or not.  You've gotta love the top-notch planning skills of the government...
