True, but ST2 is an option for older Miatas, an option not available for your 2004 Mazdaspeed. Based on the PAX coefficient, ST2 is a more rewarding class than CSP for someone with just wheel changes.

Living proof that the Miata is not just a midlife crisis car... unless i die at age 45.

ST2 is wide open locally.  I've thought long and hard about ST2ifying my '90 Miata just to get a closet full of dash plaques & trophies.  Then again, chasing Hoffman in the RSX is certainly making me a better driver - isn't that the point?

Joel,
Sorry I wasn't implying that my 04 should be in ST2.  ST2 STRICTLY forbids pushing extra air into the intake (a.k.a. turbo).  I was just curious if you were running in ST2, cuz according to SCCA that's only for 90-97 Miata's.
I tried ST2 for a while when I had an 01 on 15's.  The club had slightly modified the SCCA interpretation of ST2 a few years back.  I thought we had reverted to strict SCCA classes (strict classing? waz-zat :ouch: ....just teasing gang!)

Change the wheels/tires, leave the wing on the car, screw the radio, and as far as I'm concerned, it's stock.  I may be over-ruled, but I doubt it.
