Attached is an example of a Great Race event.  See what you think.

Golly gosh!!  Tulips and icons and all sorts of non-text in addition to text!!  Questions:

1) Is this the standard for "look and feel" for these rallys?  Does each instruction have a tulip or sign picture?

2) Would a normal set of instructions even include the running commentary in column D, or is this text for the example that shows what we would be expected to infer from the combination of icons in columns A, B, and C?

3) Does this example present the entire set of icons, or are there more to be found in some other document(s)?

I see lots of research & training in my future before I would be ready to tackle even running one of these, much less trying to organize one!

There would be tulips as well as verbal instructions. There are many more tulips available and I have an excel sheet that has about 50 that I can send to anyone who wants one.  I don't have anyplace to "post" it.  I don't know yet where to get the column B icons.

The GR style rally is very clear and easy to follow - there's no attempt to lose anyone. The events are won by timing only and you can see that it'll be a challenge.
