Thanks to our OD's and everyone else who put on a great event.  I started the day hoping it would rain and I wouldn't have to change tires but in the end I am glad it dried up and we did change tires.

Those that didn't make it out missed a good course.

I agree. Never thought we'd get dry runs, but they were dry and FAST. Thanks OD's for a great course.Smiley

Great course.  What a fun day!  I only wish my 47.2 fun run counted :p  My runs were wet and slow, but it really was a great day all in all.

Sorry about the bad luck, hopefully we'll see her out there again soon flying as usual.

Great course, wish I could've found driven it well. I had a rain course set in my head and didn't let any sections flow together like they should have.

I hope GM doesn't give you too much trouble.  I really hate to see something like that happen to anyone's car.

And I was kidding about that last comment I made when we were talking by your truck.  I would rather get beat by you than see something like that happen to your car.  You have been pushing me all year to be faster than I thought I could be.

I don't know how my tires will hold up but you are welcome to run our Z06 if your not able to be back in the saddle by the next event.

Could we get some day-glo spray paint and paint the cone locations, so we could all get a shot at this course in the dry someday?

Waaa... Sad when I had time enough to change tires it was actually raining, so I decided to go with street tires, and of course it immediately stopped raining and began to dry off.  Humph.

But even thrashing around on greasy street tires was fun ...

I may let you drive the RSX one day, but we both know that if I drive the Golf, I'll be in for a world of hurt from you in the RSX. Wink My momma didn't raise no dummy. LOL

For those of us who didn't make it, what happened to Gil's car?

Great event everyone!  This was my first VMSC event this year.  Too bad I had to run on the wet course, but luckily the only other car in my class also ran in the rain.  Cheesy  Awesome course BTW, it must have been fun without puddles. :p  Hope to make it to other events down there again.

Did anyone get a funrun time on that E/SP Camaro?

That thing was already flying in the wet, I didn't have a chance at catching them, were they even quicker during the fun runs?

They were quick, but got sloppy once or twice during the fun-runs.

I think he had a 48.Huh? in the first heat. Looked really good for the conditions. I figured he would be in the 45's dry.

That's fast, I'm fairly sure I could get 50.x but I wasn't close to finding it Sunday. I'd get one section with good speed and give it all up going into the next. I can't imagine running sub 48 even if I had good tires.

I think Pasha was entering times for the fun-runs so they might be included in the results.

Brian, where were you during the fun-runs?  You should either do some fun-run-ride-alongs or ride as a passenger in your own car.

I know, I know and I was the one asking about that. I had to take off after the third heat to get some work done for school. I didn't want to leave, especially when they announced fun runs. angry
