"TSD" means Time/Speed/Distance, which is the calculation your navigator does over and over to keep the team on time. The idea in a TSD rally is to cover the official course at the given speed. Since the rallymaster measures the course, he calculates how long each leg should take, and teams are charged a penalty point for each 1/100 of a minute they are late
or early.
A "Tour" rally is one in which the route instructions contain no intended traps, so teams should have no trouble following the official course and need concentrate purely on maintaining the assigned speeds. This is as opposed to a "Course" rally, where the instructions contain logical traps which make following the course more difficult.

Pre-registration is nice, but we never turn away teams that show up at the appointed starting point in time to register and armed with the entry fee!
So come on out and join the fun. If you want to just dip a cautious toe in the water to see what it's like, come out and work an event. It's free, you get to spend a day in the countryside laughing at silly things really teams do, and join in the hilarity at the awards dinner that traditionally follows each event.
