Results from the first event at Richmond Raceway Complex are posted.

We have begun our new practice of having an OD and a representative of the Timing Team do the final results check after the event.  We reviewed the cards and the results have the blessing of the OD.

OD: Audie Chenery
Timing: Pasha Paterson

Let the trash talking commence.  Cheesy

Let me be the first...

I don't know much about car classing but I'm sure that Tom Yost didn't run  LEP.

Also, I see that you have "workers" listed at the end of the result listings.  Good place to keep track of these extra names for John to record.  You need to add:

Betsy Edwards
Chuck Edwards
Matt Ogburn   and
(ahem)  Genie Passut

Great job thanks!  Oh and Gil Smith's new ride is not a Z06.  it is a regular vette.

Congrats to Rick Carson for a really strong drive at his 1st dry event on 710s! Geez, if it ain't one Carson giving you PAX grief, it's the other! or well, both... ES sure looked like it had a fun day, top 3 covered by .6 of a second. Maybe Rich shouldn't have gotten rid of that car after all... :p

Very smooth event, great job on the quick results as well!

I second the Team Carson domination and would also like to congratulate Ben Lawes on his tough win. That is a great pull in Scott's Miata. I knew there were 53..x's in the car, just wish I had found them...LOL.Cheesy

Not exactly true. He got 1 1/4 dry runs in Verona a couple of weeks ago. Wink

Looks like they know how to drive fast in that family!

Rick, that was a pretty stout lap.  I was second guessing my gear selection on certain parts of the course. We'll have to compare notes.

...then let me read the notes.  Pretty Please?

My notes: I used 1st gear the whole course, which I wish I didn't do.  Each run was faster, so I hit the rev limiter more each run.  I probably could've gained some by shifting, but I couldn't decide where.  There were too many slow places.

Great driving by the STS folks Sunday and also Gil who looked like he's mastered the new vette already even with street tires. Personally (I'm still a newbie) I thought the course wasn't too bad even for a big car, was pretty cool to have the turns coming at you non-stop.

I'd like to have a course where I don't have to stay in first (can't build boost in first) but I'm sure we'll have one soon.

I have absolutely NO  IDEA what you're talking about;)

If Tom thinks he needs the advantage of running in the "L" class, then I wish him the best.......Cheesy

The results have been updated with the correct classing, PAX indexes, and additional workers.
