Most of you guys know I love to build stuff.
Lately I've gotten a handful of smaller jobs that require some Engineering (math/simulation), some 2D and 3D CAD work as well as fabrication. It seems like everyone in the motorsport community often times has this same need, so I figured I'd broaden it out a bit and post here to see if any of the VMSC members had something they had been dying to do but didn't have the time, knowledge or tools.
The current "box" I'm putting myself in, is the following:
Materials:Aluminum
Steel
Stainless
Thicknesses:up to 3/8"
Welding services:MIG
TIG
ARC
CAD service:2D and 3D models, drawings and simulations
Rates:I can price per job, or by the hour (depends heavily on what it is)
I am trying to steer away from production work as I don't have the time resource. However 1 offs and concepts, even if fabricated elsewhere, would be in the wheel house of tasks I can complete all hours of the night. Along with that emergency repairs can be arranged if the situation is needing it.
If you need help with anything, send me a note via email (
inskeepwp@gmail.com) and I'll let you know what I can do & when. Current backlog runs me out to the end of August for "big" projects. But I can always sneak an hour or 2 in somewhere to handle a urgent need.
Let me know
Paul
