Results are up, please post any corrections below:
http://www.myautoevents.com/pls/mae/frmEventDetail.ShowResults?psevent_id=16220

Dale Shoop and Jordan Robinson, I disqualified both of your 3rd runs as they appeared to be timing issues that weren't caught during the event.  You should of received re-runs for those, sorry.

Changes: Fixed 104 STU
Moved Courtney to CAM-T
Lee Hassig to TCSP
Robert Clemons from a mustang to an STS miata
Baird Stokes from ASP to AS

Awesome event and loved the track for sure.

Rod and Courtney both ran in the 73 Camaro that should be classed as CAM T would be better PAX. Thanks for updating that

They wanted to run in separate classes to not run together, that said I thought I put Courtney in cam-t, will fix that.

I liked my pax more before I moved him...

Joe,
It looks like Robert Clemons changes didn't save, he pre-registered as a Mustang, but he is the one we changed to the Miata (John Peddy's old one). I am sure you know the class.   Also Joe .... you did a great job today, lots of us recognized you had to deal with timing/registration/car problems.  Glad you made it thru the day!

Joe wins a gold star sticker today,

There were tons of errors when I did the computer in the third heat. I can't imagine what it looks like.

I put Courtney in XP, I figured it was better then being in FS like he was registered Smiley

Seems like a lot from reg didn't save, no idea wtf went wrong.  Will get him re-classed tomorrow.

Haha I got ya there for sure just want to try to make it fair though. That Camaro is nasty and it's only going to get faster with them driving it. Thanks for fixing it man Courtney shot to the top I think once you move Rod to CAM T as well he will do the same and I'll take over CAM C class win.

Still need Rod moved from Cam C to CAM T. His pax will be better and bump him up in PAX.

I think that cone call on #1 ES Mr2's second run 61.061 was in error if you could just double check the paper copy : )

He can Courtney chose to run in a separate heat.  Because we are running by class he is stuck with the cam-c pax.  Cam-t ran 3rd, he ran first.

Even though that Camaro is not legal in C? I'm confused I get the fact they ran separate heats so they had to choose different classes but usually it's a class that the car will fall legally in not illegal like in this case. Correct? So he should be in a legal class for the Camaro in a given heat?

For example Paul ran BSP in the BMW since Mindy and Ricardo Co drove in STU. The car is legal in both classes but different heats.

Am I following this right still trying to learn this all in more detail and keep it fair for everyone's places in pax.

I agree with Shane on this. Camaros up to '92 are CAM-T. I thought the reason we ran by class was to alleviate any weather advantage in a given class. Unless running in another heat gave Courtney an advantage he should be in CAM-T. That's what I've always thought anyway.

You might need Englebert's input on this.

I'm not an expert on cam, so if you can tell me why the camaro isn't legal in cam-c I will be glad to move Rod to cam-s.

I asked Courtney he said " the car is build for cam t. Rod nor I really care what class we are under so in the results just put one of us in cam t and the other in xp so we don't hurt the points for other people.  We are just there to have fun and test the car. Thanks for letting us run with you guys.  And no it does not have abs or traction on the car.  Old school."

So Joe put it however you want too just wanted it to be fair for everyone,  Didn't mean to cause a mess or anything. Trying to just get more involved anyway I can try.

Just for my information. In the event you prefer to run a heat other than the heat your class is running, are you required to run in a class that IS running in the heat that you've chosen to run in? That's what I've gleaned from the discussion so far. Again, running by heat was supposed to prevent a weather advantage, nothing more.

Yes I think, if someone chooses to run outside their class in another heat they should still have to be legal in that class or need to be in a class that wouldn't effect anyone else running for points. Because if your running outside your class your probably not running for club points any how

The point of running by class is is to remove any advantage/disadvantage in your class due to different weather and course conditions that always change throughout the day.  You don't get to pick and choose your class to get in a preferred heat, that messes up any attempt I make to balance the run groups.  If someone like Rod and Courtney; or Paul, Mindy, and Ricardo; or any other two/three driver let me know before groups are made then I put them in separate heats of my choice and class them in the lowest class in each heat their car is legal in.

In this case, Rod pre-registered in camc with the 73 camaro.  I don't know why he didn't pre-register in camt but whatever.  All camt cars are legal in camc so its fine.  Courtney asked to run in a separate heat and didn't care what class he was in.  He was fine with any cam class or xp.  There were no other registered camt cars, so I put him in camt 3rd heat.  (And then the PC lost basically all changes from registration...)

Well aware of the reason behind running by class, (something I campaigned for when we went to PAX for points, to no avail). However, when I ran with other clubs that ran by heat, you could run in another heat. However, in the event there was a weather advantage, your runs did not count. All I wanted was clarification on what we were doing.
