Has the committee looked at the classing questions regarding last week's event that Gunny and I posted?

Bill, the Board Meeting should have been on Thursday the 1st, before the event so there was no opportunity to officially change these cars.
The Corvette is B/S by Appendix A and the Cadillac is not listed in Appendix A, but it falls into the "catch all" of V8 American Sedans not otherwise listed in ESP.
I'll shoot Paul an email, this shouldn't require Comp Committee discussion.  It really shouldn't require Board discussion.

Message sent.
I guess the Board could have caught this before the event. BUT, we all should have picked this up before the event. I usually look, but I missed these.

I believe your right Bill that is where most the v8 muscle cars go while the car is stock they ran it bumped to keep their 'SP' points. I don't think it matters to Carl or Amanda esp and fsp are street prepared year points classes. The only thing it would effect would be their Volvo/fiat points. The Cadillac is obviously neither a Volvo or fiat. Correcting the classes will have no negative impact on their points.

This was a good topic, I'm reminded every time I autocross with another club just how well we run things here at VMSC .

The only reason I bring it up is because we're using PAX for points. Thanks to the comp committee for resolving the issue.

Yes I understand the class rules for the Cts v. Since it is a stock car on street tires the pax for fsp seemed adequate. But for the sake of accuracy we will only run it in f-street in the future

No need to change the results again. we are not concerned about points and the overkill pax of esp should only hurt us not anyone else

You may want to keep running it in E/SP for year end points, since you've run SP successfully all year. Agree with the index on E/SP, (and CAM-C for that matter). Running what is essentially an uncompetitive F/Street car on crap tires in CAM-C causes me to scan the results from the bottom up these days.
