Hey, I'm new to autocross. I was at the last rir event as well as the class day beforehand. I've been researching, and I'm still unsure of what class to register in.

01 honda civic ex
Completely stock engine

Mods:
Intake
Header/exhaust
Coil overs
Rear camber adjustable control arms
Rear strut bar
Rear lower subframe brace
Rear tie bar
Rsx rear sway bar
16x7 wheels 205/45 tires
Rear seat delete
All oem plastics are still in car
Abs delete with non abs proportioning valve
Carbon fibre hood

I'm sure I'm missing other things, but these are the main things I saw brought up in the scca rules. Stf? Smf? Just need a pro to help me out on what class I fall in. Thanks in advance!

Hi Zach,
Your car is in SMF based on your mod list.

Intake : probably ST legal, SP otherwise
Header/exhaust : ST legal with a cat, SP otherwise
Coil overs : ST legal
Rear camber adjustable control arms : ST legal
Rear strut bar : ST legal
Rear lower subframe brace : I have no idea on this one, bracing is weird in the rules
Rear tie bar : see above
Rsx rear sway bar : HS legal (assuming you have the stock front bar)
16x7 wheels 205/45 tires : ST legal
Rear seat delete : SMF
All oem plastics are still in car
Abs delete with non abs proportioning valve : maybe SP legal, probably not
Carbon fibre hood : SMF

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Hey Zach, welcome. You are a street touring car, other than the removed rear seat. This is going to place you in a prepared class. D-Street Prepared to be exact.

See page 185 from the rule book on applicable cars in DSP

Paul

Just a note: Civic (non-si) (2001-05) go to FSP.

Thanks for your replies, guys. SMF it is. Hopefully I'll be able to make it out there this Sunday. I had a blast last time.
