I noticed on the June 14 entry on myautoevents.com that there are 2 event dates, June 14 and May 31. Maybe that has something to do with it. See the attached screenshot.

Good eye there! However that May 31 date is in a text block in the event info, it's not actually recognized by the server as a date, just as text. (In fact I think I can fix the text block.)

Is there a fix for inputting car class? I am unable to complete my registration because of this issue.

As far as I know the car class bug has been fixed, as of last event.
Is the car class correct in your MAE account "garage"? If so then you should just be able to select your car from a pulldown during registration and the class and other details will be copied over into the form.
If none of that helps, then I guess I need a better understanding of the issue you are running into. (Can you get a screenshot?)

OK I take that back - there is a car class issue with the form.
I missed it because I selected a saved car from my garage so I didn't really look at the form.
Thanks for the alert.

The Novice/street tire one is still broken I think. Only options are Karts, Formula Junior, or Novice.

I see Novice on that pulldown now, along with the karts.

Shouldn't there be other options? If I leave it blank then it tells me to choose one, but I'm not novice, kart, etc.

I haven't been able to recreate your issue yet. I created a new entry with a blank index class, OK. I created another entry with Novice, OK. I edited the second entry and changed it to blank, that worked too. So.... there's something different about your entry that leads to your problem, not sure what though. If you select Novice and finish the entry, then go back and edit your entry (there should be a link under your name in the Entry List page), will it let you change Novice back to blank?

I registered as novice (just so I wouldn't get an error). Now if I go back to edit my registration and set it to the blank I get the following error:
Unable to Complete Request
Novice/Street Tire? is required

Well.... all I can say now is that for someone with admin privileges it's not a problem. So I don't have any helpful advice for you, however you are now in CS without Novice index.

Very cute. It will just be a nightmare for poor Mindy on Sunday morning trying to make sure all the entries are correct in the computer before you run.

Simple fix. Just assign all Novices a 1.0 PAX for Sunday. They will run like lemmings.

Beth, I can feel the power rumbling in your posts (or maybe that's the new M3). Mindy and I will certainly appreciate that on Sunday....as if checking in over a hundred folks isn't fun enough!! am not sure how I registered .... but it appears that you fixed me as well. thanks!!

This is slightly off topic, but who would I talk to if I wanted to take photos during the event, including during my work time if there are enough other corner workers.

Talk to the OD at the event, preferably early in the day before things get really busy. You will need to take a spotter with you wherever you go, i.e. someone to officially watch your back while you are focusing on the cars. You would not be allowed to take pictures during your work time.

If anyone is still listed in Novice class but you want to run Open class could you let us know so that we can make the changes to registration before Sunday. Thanks, Gene Cooley
