So I have a friend of mine that says yes it can keep up (he races them)
I've been trying to get him out to a race to file. hopefully soon to a practice session first.

I would like to see if that thing can see the light poles, and bang in to those. LOL.

Whoever brings one should also have good insurance in case they crash it into a car.

Unfortunately (fortunately?) the SCCA banned drones last year. Sad

Fortunately, VMSC and TSCC are not SCCA Smiley  I'd love to have video like this for post-event feedback.

Very cool idea but my concern is the web site says max speed is software limited to 25 mph with a range of 100 ft and notes that it does not have collision avoidance capability... so it should not be able to keep up with even the slowest drivers, and if there are any lamp poles or other obstructions, it's toast!  It's apparently intended to track much slower moving objects in wide open spaces.
