I was in the 3rd heat today in my BRZ and my fastest run was my first (65 seconds) as the rain started coming down before my second run. My 2nd would have been 1 second faster if I hadn't taken out a cone.  In the 3rd run I lost 7 seconds as the course was very slippery but also very fun.

Run 1- https://youtu.be/p5qMxj0R5RM
Run 2- https://youtu.be/iIWgC6W2rcU cone at 53 seconds
Run 3- http://youtu.be/Wn38dU642GU slippery Smiley

The 4th run I decided to turn traction control back on and put it in sport mode and the nannies were kicking in constantly and my time was very close to my 3rd run. I just wanted to compare the modes and I'll probably leave everything off next time it rains.

that was fast Smiley
great run. It looks so much slower n the video than it actually is. My best run was 78 seconds, which was 10 seconds slower than you... and I felt like I was flying haha! I will upload my video as well

I did the opposite on my 4th run, sport mode off but traction control also off.  That didn't work either.
It felt like the two features were fighting each other the whole time.

Here's Tyrel's 1st and best run (73.353). I'm not sure what happened to his clutch on his other runs; it seems we're making progress little by little each event, lol

Here is my fourth and fastest clean run.
Fun course, wish the rain would have held out for the third and fourth heat drivers.

My fastest run from the damp/wet 3rd heat.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xpBwG0jblfk

My spin in my final run - sorry workers for punting so many cones. I was spinning the RR tire leaving the slalom and it was still spinning when I started to turn left around the "eye brow" and I looped it.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WDIYvrMP5wA

I had a lot of fun, my thanks to those who put on the event.

I was in the car directly behind you getting ready to go. The starter said "Oh! Might as well relax for a while."

This was my fastest run of 68.55. I wasn't too far off from first place in ESP but I know Bill is going to make it difficult for me to take that position! I really lost time in the slalom though; my nearly bald rear tires were not cooperating like I was hoping, but it was a very fun and fast course! Thanks everyone!

Wow Teamking I really love that video! Great driving but what I love most is the data and the map in the video - so cool! How can I get that "data" setup for my car/video?

If you have GPS data for your run, you can use software such as Dashware to combine it with video.

Your smartphone may be able to give you that data, if you can figure out how to do it.
I use a standalone GPS lap timer and download the log data to my computer.

I use an XD1080 camera (a GoPro would work equally well) with an AIM Solo for 10 hz data (a Solo DL would get me RPM and throttle position).  I combine them using RaceRender (which can be used for free if the videos are <3 minutes).

As Whiteryder pointed out, you can get started on all this with your phone.  I hear good things about Harry's Lap Timer and there is also SoloStorm.  You can use the internal gps (1 hz, I believe) until you want to buy an external 10 hz gps.  It can hook up to the obdii port with the right cabling.

The one thing I don't like about my setup is having to combine/sync the video and data.  An AIM SmartyCam does it all.

thats all cool!
I spent alot of time getting data synched with video that the end result was not wort it.
hence the reason non of my videos have it.
I would how ever like the data for a track day event.
guess I need to get learning!
