My son and I autocrossed in CMod for a season and a half. We had an '82 Crossle 50F Formula Ford. It was a blast, but a steep learning curve, for me at least.

Gene and Bernard Cooley ran a Tui in AMod for a number of years until they built the Fiat 600 that they run in EMod.

Go buy that and come out. Turbo 3 rotor sprite has won emod countless years I believe. This would be a fun base to start something like that.
