If you can leave two black stripes from the exit of one corner to the braking zone of the next, you have enough horsepower. Mark Donohue

Great course today. I still managed to get sunburn after 5 applications of sunscreen. Thank you for the quick results.

Thanks for the quick results and a fun course! You may want to verify, if possible, whether my 4th run was really clean. I certainly hope the results are correct (clean) but the announcer said "cone in the Chicago box and my wife's video shows a worker running to at least check a cone before the video pans towards the last corner . . . I'll be glad to accept the time  :-)

Dick, I can't say for sure about that particular run, but I was spotter in second heat and I noticed they ran out to check that cone pretty often, but only called in a cone maybe 30-40% of the time.  There was definitely one case where they called in a cone and then retracted the call after they checked it.

I figure whatever the computer shows is kind of like a baseball ref's call.  Sure there's room for error (and in some cases discussion may be warranted), but in the interests of getting on with the game we generally just go with it.   Smiley

Glad to have you back with us, and I'm impressed at how smoothly you have converted your skills to a very different beast.

I'm in the same boat as the others. I believe that I coned that time in the chicago box. I believe justin has it on video and you can hear it.
