  If only I knew where this thing was going on auction. This would make an outstanding cheap autocross car !

Keep an eye on eBay.  I'd search "salvage corvette".  Also, the seller "fparts" sells some whole cars (like this one) and C5 chassis.  They're up in PA

Also interesting, when I searched for "fparts" on eBay, it asked me if I meant to search for "farts."

If you check with Kim Motor in Petersburg, they always have a stock of Corvette Salvage/Rebuildable/Drivers and good used cars for sale.  If they don't have anything now, something will turn up.
By the way, some of us like automatics, especially after they have been "improved".
