Here are the overall results

I do not have the broke down challenge results but it looks like that VMSC has some pretty good wet weather drivers!

Thank you, suddenly find I am hoping for more bad weather at future autocrosses.   lol

No doubt the next event will be beautiful and you will trounce me as usual.
But I'll be smiling all month until then.   Grin

Great event and glad that i came out still because the rain makes me stick to basic precision car control skills that I probably learned in driver's ed but way too old to remember sometimes.  Nothing fancy just make it stick with no spinouts!  Also I finally realized that cooler tires prevail so my times do not fall off after each run.  Thank you rain drops and puddles for keeping my tires nice and cool.  Thanks again VMSC for a great event and a technical course eventhough there were weather elements to account for.

<happydance/>

I would love to have run that course in the dry, but then I probably wouldn't have fared as well on the results sheet.

Thanks to all who put on a great event!

So who won the challenge? Kudos to Ray for a great course. It was open and flowing. I would love the chance to drive it in the dry.

Quick calculation at VMP said we did (by a very thin hair).  I have not yet heard an official confirmation though.

We won...just barely (by like 14 thousandths of a second).  We initially thought BRR had won, but Ray showed up and pointed out that John Wolf (white STI, #1 PAX) wasn't a BRR member...otherwise they would have destroyed us.

I loved that course! I ran on my old Nitto NT01 R compound tires, and was pleasantly surprised at the grip. One more run, and I think I could have had the Camaro in the 61's. Glad we won, even if only by a razor thin margin.

Congrats to us. I knew they would be tough in the wet with Wampler and Kriz in the Subie.

No biggie.  Jeff & Audie outpaxed both of 'em.
