Our challenge event with tidewater sports car club will be on the 20th at ACU4 in Va beach. Not the be confused with the VMSC VS BRR event at VMP on the 13. It may be a little drive but this venue is totally worth it. Its a huge lot and its gorgeous fast and fun. Registration for the event can be found at www.motorsportreg.com there are only 6 more days left to sign up due to this being the amphibious base with the US NAVY. Please sign up as soon as you can and make a weekend out of it if you would like to participate in Saturdays Autox also. You only have to make sunday for the challange if your time is limited.

If you can leave two black stripes from the exit of one corner to the braking zone of the next, you have enough horsepower. Mark Donohue

Agree...this is likely the best autocross venue in VA.

I'd be going, but Danielle's parents are coming to visit.

I was planning on it but apparently it is our anniversary day so I can't play.  :-(

Norfolk, beach, away from the house! for a few hours of race time your ole lady will have a great time!
conversation with the wife.......
ok,
Well I could have not posted this but I asked my ole lady and she said no way to!
Guess if you reverse the roles and my wife wanted me to do something girly like going to a ballet I would say no to!

I'm going to shut up now.

Really! There is a beach right by the edge of the hovercraft pad. How many other places can your wife sit in the sand and soak up the rays while you autocross just yards away?

Any chance the gov't shutdown will cause a cancellation of this event?

Keath said, "Not that we are aware of. Base CO said there wasn't any issues. The base security folks responded that the access list was received and processed."

He reminded us to bring the trophy. Does someone who is going have it?

I'm going, I do not have the trophy. I think Audi and Jeff are going. Do they have the trophy?
