Someone on the BRR Forum asked this question with respect to scoring for the VMSC-BRR Challenge

Does the 0.975 modifier get used for street/road tire stock cars?

My answer was that we are going to do whatever VMSC normally does.  So, what is that?

We have not implemented the Modifier at this time.
that is not to say we wont though. We have a meeting on Thursday. I'm sure most if not all the board members will see this post.

We don't use it, but like Gunny said its not out of the question. We generally follow the SCCA rules as a club. I can see personally how the modifier and the newly proposed street tire classes would be beneficial in this situation where two clubs meet and street driven cars on street tires compete against locals who can easily get stickies to the site.

If you can leave two black stripes from the exit of one corner to the braking zone of the next, you have enough horsepower. Mark Donohue
