Thanks for the fun course. Here are a couple of my videos.
1. My second run is when I start to push. I got on the gas too hard at the turn around at about 26 into the video and did some sliding around.

2. My fifth, and fastest run of the day with the camera in a different position.

I agree, it was a fun course. The finish looked a bit tight, but was actually fun.

As always

My best run in an Amurrican car.  It was fun.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zrbI1TqkD54

In fact it got more fun every run.... with another 10 runs or so I might have really
started picking up some speed.   Thanks to Gunny for the loaner.   Smiley

Here are a couple of mine from today
My best run 44.728- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BES5xhY-IuE&feature=c4-overview&list=UUNNLgcwt9kRn-3PAN68cNdg

An interesting angle to see cones flying, and the only way you can hear the Hyundai with stock exhaust- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZHhGUMGSFcs&feature=c4-overview&list=UUNNLgcwt9kRn-3PAN68cNdg

Playing with the Torque Pro app for Android, wind noise is terrible may want to turn your volume down- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ELHxyjJHtfI&feature=c4-overview&list=UUNNLgcwt9kRn-3PAN68cNdg

I love the Torque app but I can't use it for the Miata because it is not OBDII. I use it for my Hyundai Accent every time I drive it though.

Random question. Since you were behind me and recorded my runs while you were waiting to go, would it be possible to upload an edit of what you have for my Miata? That first video you posted above was the first time I heard my car from the outside and I would love to hear some more. Thanks!

Had a great time today!
I was able to run Beth's Porsche today for a full event! Beth was nice enough to trust me with her pride and joy. Anyhow it was a great challenge to learn the car and run fast in five runs (I believe I left a 3/4 of a  second or so on the course) . I've only have begun to understand the way the Porsche handles (all traction control and assists were turned off). I'll just say this, that damn car is fast! and I was on street tires!
here is my fastest clean run. I was really pushing on the last 2 runs and made lots of mistakes.

My Video! Fun,fun, fun on the autobahn, ahh I mean Autocross! Smiley

good times!

OK, so it was my second event at Auto cross....nothing special and obvious I am not a prodigy......But I am having fun learning.....I had upgraded the suspension to a Flyin Miata adjustable Vmaxx coilovers with FM sways.  Kept the street tires on it as I am trying to convince myself that is best way to learn car control.....I have some Toyo RA1's in the garage.....they will be on for VIR next weekend....

here are my videos from 4 of the 5 runs....camera was not turned on for run #3....coincidentally, that's when I broke all the records!!!......   actually, not really.....it was just as slow as the other runs.  Sad

Here is my fastest run from today. I enjoyed the course. It was a different take on the RIR lot.

It was a great event, I really enjoyed the unique course design and I felt that it really focused on some challenging aspects that are not always able to get covered in the traditional course build at RIR. I did find it to be a great deal more challenging then i first interpreted but i kept focusing on the perfect braking scenario and recovering from the speed break downs and some how managed to land it all just right on my last run.

Best run...

P.S: Like always, special thanks to everyone who took pictures and posted them up. Its absolutely awesome and we really appreciate it.

It was a good day all around. The car is running well, course was great and the rain held off until we finished.

Here is my FTD run in the Fiat.
