Hey everyone! New to the VMSC here, just wanted to briefly introduce myself, I am an automotive student interested particularly in motorsport, and have just begun to get my feet wet by joining this discussion forum. I look forward to meeting awesome new people and eventually racing my car!

Welcome.  Looking forward to meeting you as well.  What do you drive?

A 2002 VW Jetta Gli Vr6. I guess I should make that clear in my signature.  I've been a VAG enthusiast since I bought my first GTi in 2009...this particular Jetta, I feel, is the perfect car for me to track and grow with as a driver.  It's my first VR after a long line of 1.8t's, as well as one 16v, so modifying it, driving it, and especially tracking it is completely new to me. Needless to say I'm excited about the potential learning experience.

Despite my VAG bias I've grown to appreciate the styling, performance and especially the motorsport potential of all cars, I've grown up a VW driver in a predominately Honda/Acura/JDM tuning scene, so, unlike most German car enthusiasts, I've had exposure to these particular makes/models and have seen firsthand what they're capable of.

Ah, Volkswagens.  There are some VW people lurking around here.  Maybe one day we'll see Paul's MkII GTI again Tongue

I had one, up until a couple months ago. A '91 Tornado Red 16v, loved the thing but had to let it go, a friend of mine has it now.
