Well, I didn't do all that great but maybe with a few changes and some more seat time i can see if i can do a little better at the next event.
Was definitely a blast though, thanks everyone.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bDe_f9vVtZ4If anyone wants to offer up any suggestions or pointers other then the obvious "Stay on Course" and "Don't Hit Cones" I'm open ears! lolThat evo looks like a monster! After looking at the video - I'd say go a bit wider on corners to maintain speed. There were a few points where you'd slow down a lot to make a corner - and of course what I have a problem with the most: slaloms! Be 'early' on the turn in - Ricardo tried to beat that through my head. My wife is much better at them than I am :-/. Looking ahead obviously is what everyone says - and it's true. It's easy to go off course if you're focused on just the 'next' cone.
Also - that first slalom - it's easy to miss, but going in on the right side left you coming out on the left - which set you up better for the next gate (and subsequently the following gate that you kept missing).
Good job keeping the speed up! What heat where you in? I ran 1 so we had a bit less water. I felt like the course was crazy slippery then - hate to imagine what it was like when it was wetter. VMP is kinda slippery in general (think it's the asphalt used). At least you have AWD to help with that ;-). I totally lost it on my 4th run - slid right past the first corner on the loop.
I can attest to the AutoX school is HUGELY helpful. Do that if you get a chance. I took 2-3 seconds off my times assuming my competition in my class is running consistent.
