  So we won. YAY !

I was feeling kinda down about car problems, luckily Harry was kind enough to let me co-drive his awesome Z06 but Gunny still got me good and as if that weren't bad enough he shook my coca cola up to rub it in.

I would like to thank everyone who showed up also.
I could have not put this event together without the help of the VMSC and Tidewater staff. Special thanks to Keath and the rest of the crew that helped put the course together and last but not least the drivers that attended the event! You are the ones who really made this thing work! Thanks. The change overs were awesome! (Audie thanks for working 3 heats!)
Hopefully VMSC will allow me to OD future events! I kinda like the big events.

You wouldn't happen to have the break down for the drivers that were counted in the challenge?

Thanks Justin!!    (And now let the discussions begin...)

I'm puzzled why I only have three times listed in the Detailed results.
I would have expected five since I got a rerun.

It's showing my fastest clean run so this doesn't affect the results, but scanning the
whole table it looks like a lot of folks only have three times showing (and only a handful
have five - I'm pretty sure there were more reruns than that).  Any ideas?

I'm thinking maybe I overloaded the system with all the cones I hit in those first two runs....   Wink

When is any timing error (even ones that you don't see as participants), times that are captured in the logs often times do not get counted.  It's not difficult to fix this, just time consuming.  I do check to make sure that everybody's fastest run is correct, which is what matters.  The detailed results should be considered a FYI only.  I wouldn't be surprised if some people even show times that weren't theirs.

Johnny Nowell's last run (and he thinks fastest run, but never got a timing slip) isn't showing up.  Do you have a time for him?

I couldn't get my head into it - but I'm happy with my fastest: 70.285.  Plus I had a stylish slide out on my 4th run.  Someday I'll beat Cliff in his Mini!

Also - I noticed Justin Briggs on his first time out got 4th place PAX adjusted in his Rabbit - shaving 10 seconds off his last time ;-).  I think that might be an error - he mentioned his fastest time was 76.101 not 67.101.  I would like to say Justin wants to come back.

Thanks again for the tips Ricardo!  Finally got my head in the game on my 3rd run!

My last and fastest run isn't showing up either I could have sworn I got into the high 68s but I also never grabbed a slip.

I'll double-check on some of the missing runs tonight.  The problem I have at this point is that I've verified the fastest times with the audit sheets.  I suspect there are a number of errors on the audit sheets, which complicates this whole scenario.

We'll work on simplifying the announcer screen so it's clear to the time writers in the trailer which time they should be writing down.

Aaah, who cares about stupid times anyway.  (esp. when they're as lame as mine, lol)

What's really important is that I achieved a new personal record on Sunday: 22,783 steps!
That's close to 10 miles.   Grin

Alright, I've updated a couple common sense things where it was clear that the wrong car number was entered for a time in the computer or something like that.  The results show the minor updates.  Unfortunately, this is as good as it's going to get.

Don't feel bad for not beating Cliff, he is fast.
That is a fast "wabbit"!
Anytime, you looked good in there, and I know some other Hyundai owner who is worried about the competition on the marque trophy.

Haha - yeah I think Mr. Corwin was a bit upset that I finally beat him :-) (although he did run faster on his 2nd run and was called off course be neither of us saw where).  Many thanks to you! - as the last time William and I met - he was a good 2 seconds faster in his Genesis than I was in mine.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Paodp1NZb2E&feature=plcp - still need to work on my slaloms.  I'm still closing in on Cliff!

You ran a good line, need to get on the gas sooner out of corners with that RWD but that can be hard to learn on street rubber.
