If you're looking for something a little different this weekend, check out the Richmond Renaissance Singers Spring concert on Saturday the 5th at 8pm. The program contains both older music (Monteverdi, Morley, Palestrina) and some modern pieces (Lauridsen, Messiaen, Stanford). Admission is free.
It's a short program - we try to keep it to about an hour including a brief intermission - so it fits neatly between dinner and the Cinco de Mayo celebration you might be heading to later. And plenty of time to get to bed early, to be ready for autocrossing in the morning!
If you've been to RIR you can find the venue: Christ Ascension Episcopal Church, 1704 Laburnum right at Hermitage - just a few blocks east of the 95/64 interchange. (In fact for the past few weeks there's been a pretty green C4 for sale, parked right in front of the place.
