MyAutoEvents Registration

Sorry for the fresh round of newbie questions. 

I was trying to sign up for the practice autox at the end of March:

and didn't seem to be able to register.  Is the event full?  Do I need to join VMSC on MyAutoEvents to register?  I didn't see a way to do that either, although I did find this:

Lastly, I seem to remember a request to preregister, and possibly prepay for events, and that paying the day of will be an extra $5.  Am I imagining that?  Didn't see anything on the site, so maybe that was at the January meeting.

You don't need to be a VMSC member to register for an event on MAE, just set up a (free) MAE account.
You can't register for the practice autox simply because registration isn't open yet for that event.
(Ditto for the autox competition the following day.)

The only "events" that are currently open for registration are annual membership and permanent numbers.

IIRC we did decide to charge an extra $5 for folks who don't pre-register.  But you don't have to prepay; you can pre-register at the regular price and then pay the day of.

  I don't think registration is open for the first event yet. Not sure how soon before events registration is opened.

  The second link is a list of registered members for 2012 I believe.

Registration for the Practice Autocross and first event at MEP will open tomorrow.
