Update ! Now that I have the engine disassembled, now I'm going after the transmission, or Getriebe.    Got some part back.  Started to put the engine back together    More to come However, I also had some other project in between  As you can see by the clock I'm working at 4 AM morgens Cheers |

OK, here is an update. I made some progress. Got the head studs installed.  Piston and cylinders are ready for installation  Getting there  One side down  Heads are next  More heads  Upside down  TimingOK  I let the pictures talk      Next AX I will stii run the beater  Cheers |

Finaly, it's running. After a little hickup, It's back together and installed.  Starting Up after installSince them I made about 80 miles, a few more and them it goes to PAS on the dyno. Cheers |

That's more like it! 220whp is around where you thought it should be, right? Now you get to learn to drive the car for a 3rd time, I bet that extra 45hp and lots more torque throughout the whole rev range will make quite a difference.

Yes..... That's the thing I need to sort out, no more details at this time.
Most important is the difference in the torque, starting at 2500 with about 180 ft/lbs compared to 125 before.
However, the engine is mechanically OK, so it will be there on Sunday for the AX for the first shakedown after rebuild. Cross your fingers, and whatever you cann.

Looks like a lot of $$$$ went into that car. I like the front end, something I like to do with the SC. Looks basically like a 964 front bumper in this case a 965 plus the added spoiler, which looks nice.  Maybe not Turbo wide. |

Enough playing, let's get back to the garage. It's about time for an update. I found a product called Deck Restore, and since it's made for the deck outside, I thought, it should work for my stairs inside that garage. It is like a paste, and messy, but after it dried up, it's nice, and not slippery, perfect for stairs.   Cheers |

OK, one more little project. Replacing the vinyl on an old bar stool for my PC in the Garage. Here it is.  Removing the legs  Next, removing the bottom carpet piece   A piece of vinyl I still had laying around  Staples 10mm  Fixing on the first 2 places  Then 4, pulling it nice and even  Starting between the 4 sections, making sure the wrinkels are about the same  All the way around  Cutting of the extra material  Checking and make sure it looks OK  Put back on the carpet bottom and the legs  There it is. I was thinking also about that, since the carpet in the green car is really thin, you can actually see the sheet metal. I was looking into the bed liner stuff. Lowes or HD has it made by Rusty O Leum.  |

Converted an old Oak desk to a work table with storage. I had this old desk back from Germany, and since we had no use for it in the house, and it was to good to get rid of, I will use it in my garage. Screwed the side pieces together   Drawers Old German style build, can't beat that.  Added wheels   The top is actually covered with Hardwood flooring, I did way back in Germany, about 25 years ago. Now I cut the desk top to size.  Here it is installed  It has also 2 pull-out shelfs  Finished with a nice coat of polyurethane, so it's easy to clean.   Cheers |

It's getting cold outside, and I had to scrap the winshield of the 44 (my daily driver) I had this. So I had to squeeze it in to the garage, next to the puppy and the bug.   Cheers |
