11/06/2011 Results

Results for the 11/6 autocross have been posted here on MyAutoEvents.  Thanks a bunch for all the BRR and Tidewater guys who came out and helped with the running of the event.  And thanks to Ray for designing the course, it was a bunch of fun.

We score the BRR - VMSC Challenge by averaging the top 10 PAX times from each club.  I'm happy to announce that we have retained the trophy for this year, even if it is only by a .25 second margin (BRR: 46.072, VMSC: 45.803).

Overall, a great event to end the season.  I'll be posting the banquet details up elsewhere on the forum shortly...hope to see you there or at some upcoming club meetings.  If not, have a great winter and see you next year.

Great day, awesome course - thanks to all who let me ride along and offered tips!
After a summer of frustration, everything finally seemed to come together today.  

(just in time to forget it all by next season, of course... )

56.156+1 56.446+1 55.938+1 55.318 54.318+1

The 56.466+1 was not my time and as far as I know the last run 54.318 was clean. If ot, then I missed it.

However, it was a fun day for me. Loking forward to 2012.

Thrilled to finish the season with a win, that'll keep me smiling over the winter. The course was very good, although I don't think I ever got the end of the long slalom right all day. This was well worth the trip.

The 56.466+1 was not my time and as far as I know the last run 54.318 was clean. If ot, then I missed it.

However, it was a fun day for me. Loking forward to 2012.

Hey Engelbert - I'm not too worried about the erroneous time showing up as it won't affect anything.  Both the computer and paper had a cone on your 54.318, so I've gotta go by that.  If you've got a video that can help disprove that we can take a look.

BTW I think the #1944 / 944 / 9441 crowd were supposed to be under Novice.

Novice just changes where on the results we print your times, not anything else...will make the update if others are required.

A cone is a cone, I just thought I had a clean run, and because the additioanal time mixed in.

That 1 second would not helped the VMSC anyway since I was so far back behind all those fast drivers.

Yup, BRR is their region of record. It surprised me too when I downloaded the member list last Friday.  While most of our members are from the I-81 corridor we have some from central/eastern VA, MD, NC, PA, GA,TN, FL, and MI.

Yeap, Kandy and I are BRR members. I just changed this earlier this year. Hell, I was a NY Regions member until then. :-)

I had a great time Sunday, and it was nice to see everyone again. I hope to see you all some next season too! I've got Three weekends at Meadow Event Park for schools/TnT's. I hope some of you all will come and join us!
