Noob question:  I know what a dyno is, but what is a "pull"?

A pull is one run on the dyno. You get 3 for $50 as part of this special. Someone else will have to explain the derivation of the term.

in all actuality horsepower is a measurement of how many pounds a horse can lift by pulling in one minute 150 lbs  220 ft  and that is also where foot pounds of torque come in.

here's the website that helped me understand  :

http://www.revsearch.com/dynamometer/torque_vs_horsepower.html

RWD.... I guess you would get 3 pushes   Grin

If you can leave two black stripes from the exit of one corner to the braking zone of the next, you have enough horsepower. Mark Donohue

Here a few pics and a video for those who missed it. The video is a Ferrari F430 Challenge car on the dyno. Sweet sound.
