Is the event this weekend (6 Nov) the BRR-VMSC Challenge?
Who's OD'ing the event?

I hope someone will correct me promptly if I'm wrong, but as I understand it:

  (1) yes

  (2) Ray Schumin is designing the course, with Audie -- ably-or-not assisted by myself -- taking care of the remaining OD duties.

Yes ! There is a ton of pre registered entrants, should be a blast ! Any rules against duct taping home made "Hot hands" blankets to your tires ?

I just looked and we're up to 94 registered drivers with probably another dozen or so walk-up's... it's going to be challenging to get everyone thru, considering that daylight savings time ends that day, meaning it will be dark an hour earlier! Hopefully Ray will set up a course that allows multiple drivers on course at the same time.

Multiple cars would be even better.

We pulled it off at RIR with time to spare but not quite as many people but that may help with shared cars running 5 minutes apart it would have to be a sub 50 sec course non crossing with 4 heats 5 runs, I have faith  Lips Sealed

Should there be a cutoff # implemented ?

OK, so the course should be 50-ish seconds for the fastest cars with starting a car every 25 - 30 seconds. That should be enough throughput to get all the runs in with the available daylight.   That said here is how everyone can help. Where we lose the most time at these events is in the change overs between heats. When it is your heat to work, show up at the trailer early, get your assignment,  and get on station quickly. When it is your heat to run have your car ready and come to grid when you are called.

I'm looking forward to a great day tomorrow.

I had a blast yesterday.  Life has been busy and this is the first event I've been to since Meadow Event Park back in April.  I really liked the course a lot.

Thanks for a great event! I'm glad I made it out to one VMSC event this year.  It's been hard because VMSC's schedule was the same as TSCC and since I paid for a TSCC membership which includes entry fees for the whole year... you get where I'm going with this! I sure do miss the wide open courses and many of the familiar faces that I got to see last year.
