Just a reminder- we've got our last event of the season coming up this Saturday (the 19th) in Clayton, NC.  Christine will be selling subs for lunch (I think the choices are ham, turkey, or roast beef), and a meal of a sub, drink, chips and dessert will cost you just 5 American dollars.

Event info can be found at http://thscc.com/rallycross/events/2005/2005-1119info.html

Online registration is now open at http://thscc.com/rallycross/prereg_rallyx.html

It's supposed to be chilly in the morning, so dress warmly!

Hope to see you there!

Results are now up at http://thscc.com/rallycross/events/index.html!

A total of 42 drivers showed up for a pair of long courses (80 second range for morning, 75 for afternoon).  The day was sunny and warmer than expected, and a good time was had by all.

Some pix are also now available at http://kevinmallen.home.att.net/thscc_rallyx_111905.htm (dialup users- caution!)

As an added bonus, we are planning an extra event on either Saturday, December 3rd or Sunday the 4th, at which rally tires will be allowed. If you are interested, sign up now for any days (or both) that you could attend.  There will only be one event, but we'll decide which day based on number of entries.  Sign up at http://thscc.com/rallycross/prereg_rallyx.html

The day with the most votes wins, but we may cancel the event if neither day is getting enough entries. We'll need to make that decision by Sunday, November 27th, so don't wait!

The votes are in, and the event is a GO!  It will be held on Sunday, December 4th at our site in Four Oaks, very near the junctions of I-95 and I-40.

As promised, rally and other knobby tires will be allowed, so bring out your pickup truck with the Super Swampers on it!

Christine will again be grilling hot dogs and hamburgers on site, and a complete lunch meal, including drink, chips, and dessert, will cost $5.

This event is this Sunday so don't wait to sign up- go to http://thscc.com/rallycross/prereg_rallyx.html and register!

Hope to see some of you there!

Well it turned out to be a beautiful day, and 40 drivers showed up to have fun in the dirt!  Some rain the night before made for some slick conditions in the morning, but no one was complaining.  12 of the 40 showed up with rally tires or other aggressive-tread tires, and the site handled it well, so we will be allowing rally tires next year.  The extra traction they provided definitely made a difference!

Results are up (in PDF format) at
http://thscc.com/rallycross/events/index.html

Thanks for all who joined us at an event this year, and we hope to see y'all at some events next year!  We should be posting a tentative 2006 schedule within a week or 2.

Thanks again!
