UPDATE: 12/19/2006 - Holy Cow. My math in this event was horrid. I apologize profusely to all involved. The results changed one last time.Well it has taken me long enough but here are the results from the event. I really wanted to thank everyone who came out and braved my directions or worked the event. Due to a couple of errors related with my instructions and the calculations the final points have changed a bit from what was announced at the event.
The first mistake was related to the calculations for a segment where the speed limit was 45 and the calculations showed the proper speed of 40 but the instructions did not. With multiple closed checkpoints this caused a cumulative error for multiple checkpoints raising peoples scores.
The second was due to the instructions showing a 35 mile per hour cas and the calculations showing a 30 mph.
So to be fair to everyone I have removed all of the checkpoints impacted by those errors.
