I am trying to see if we have enough interest to pull off another Dyno Day at Performance Autosport in Manakin-Sabot. We could do either 2/20 or 2/27. As before, if we have fewer than 10 cars, it will be $65 for 3 pulls with air/fuel ratio and if we have 10 or more, it is $55 car.

Info on and directions to Perforamnce AUtosport are here:

http://www.performanceautosport.com/

Please post here with any questions and which date you would prefer if you are interested.

I'll most likely go.  Either weekend should work.  Any guesses on whether or not my Caprice will put down more HP to the wheels than my Civic did last year?  The Civic put down 205.  The Caprice supposedly made 260hp at the crank...240k miles ago.

Count me in too.  Never dynoed a car before.  Need to see what the Neon has to the wheels with the new bolt ons.

I really wanted to do this last year.  And I really want to do it again this year!  Maybe this time I won't fink out!

2/20 theoretically works better for me.

Great. We are up to 6 and we have one preference for 2/20.

Come on. Let's get 10. Anyone? Anyone?

BTW, Justin, I vote for the Civic.

Well, looks like the banquet is getting moved to 2/20 so the dyno day would have to be the 27th.  I'm still in.

The reservation has been made for Saturday, 2-27, at 9:00 at Performance Autosport. See everyone there. I will ask for a final count about 1 week out.

Just take one of the driveshafts off Tongue

And for the record, I think my Caprice will make slightly more HP than the Civic and like double the torque.  Too bad it weighs twice as much.

How long do we have the dyno?  I might need to run either first or last depending on my boy and the time.

We don't have it for a set period. If you want a sure time, you can have 9:00.

I'm waiting to hear back from Kevin @ PAS, but how long does it usually take to do 3 pulls?  I'm trying to decide whether to go for the 9am slot, or drop Alastair off for lunch and come closer to 1pm.

If you guys are all done by 1, that might be too late.  Oh the joys of single parenting...

My recollection is that 3 pulls takes 15-30 minutes depending on how long it takes Kevin to place the leads. Given the number of people signed up, I don't expect we will still be there at 1:00. I think 9 is your better bet.
