Membership Meeting Locations - Suggestions?

Hey Guys,

I think a lot of people are getting a little tired of Candela's.  Our December meeting may be the last membership meeting there.  January is at G-Force, then I would like to move the meeting somewhere else.  I'd like to hear people's suggestions.  I'm open to anything and will likely put the suggestions up for a vote at the December membership meeting.  Locations should be able to seat 20 in a private or semi-private area.  I don't see us having the meeting somewhere that doesn't have food, but it is possible.

Please reply to this post with the name and address of somewhere you would propose we could have the meeting.  I've created and will maintain a Google Map with the suggestions.

Do any of these places have a separate room we could use? Our past attempts at just using a table out in a restaurant have met with mixed success.

Bandito's has a separate room as well.  I haven't called any of these places to inquire about using them, I'll take care of that once we short-list them.

I don't think Jason's Deli has a separate room, but they are huge and I don't think anyone goes there for dinner.  And who can argue with free ice cream?

With that logic, you definitely have my vote for President!

I do agree with your assessment of Jason's except for the one near Willow Lawn. That one does fill up at times. The one by SHort Pump Mall always seems to have plenty of room. Don't know about others.

The other evening I was walking by Panera'a Bread in the Stony Point Fashion Mall and saw where they were advertising their meeting room next door to the restraunt. It was large enough and there was plenty of convenient parking.  Stony point is right off the Chippenham prkwy and is convenient to both North side and Southside people.

I like Bob's idea. That is pretty central, Panera has a good selection, and I think we do need a room. January is at G-Force. If everyone agrees, Bob can you call them and see if we can reserve the room for the 3rd Thursday in February?

Hmm, looks like Panera is out.  They are booked every Thursday for the next few months.

Has anyone been to ExtraBilly's BBQ on Alverser Dr?  I hear they have a separate meeting room.  If anyone has a preference on any of the places talked about in this post, let me know.  If I don't hear anything I'll contact River City Diner on Parham early next week, followed by Jason's Deli on Forest Hill.
