I'll waiting list us, but I do not want to commit to the cage until we are in. If we get in, we drop the car off after that.

I'm in the same boat.

I also vote for waiting list. I don't see the downside since we can always say no if it is too close to the race to get the car prepped. We need to add up the money we owe Justin and each pay our share. It's not fair for Justin to bear any expenses alone. Same for you Scott for any money you have spent.

If we end up in the Fall race, we could be racing against Dave and a team from Honda R&D.

I have not spent a cent, only time. I agree we should work with Tony and Justin to make things right.

Hello All,

I did not follow all the posts, however, I just want to let you know that there is somebody in Powhatan who makes rollcages all types. He made my parts for my 911 roll bar. Check it out at http://rollcagecomponents.com

He is about 5 miles away where I live.

What car did you end up with?

BTW: I will attend the March 1 AX no matter what.

Cheers

Alright guys....dilemma time. Since buying the Miata, I really can't make the April race. That said, Jay emailed me today and said we can move up to the accepted list. I just need to let him know the captain's name and that we will attend. Is there interest in trying to make the April race? If so, who is in? I will handle the admin stuff, but someone else will need to take point in organizing and getting the money together. Please post your thoughts ASAP!

Nope.  I'd like to continue developing the car for September, but prepping for the Trackdaze event has strained my finances.  Not gonna happen for me this time, either.

I've already talked myself out of it...there is a track day at VIR that weekend I am going to try and go to.

Cool. I was hoping I didn't leave everyone in a bind. We'll revisit the Fall race in May sometime and guage interest then.

Good stuff. Watching a bit now. Seems less dramatic then the hand picked You Tube stuff.

BTW - I'm will not be able to do the fall race. I am more than willing to help with whomever wants to apply for it. New expenses and Catherine going back to nursing school makes it too much for me to handle. Maybe when she gets out. Smiley

Sorry to hear you can't do it. You were our ringleader!

Catherine doing better?

She is getting there. Still hurting a bit. Hopefully she'll be back in form soon.
