Hi All,

I am selling my 1991 CRX Si for $1,500.  It has 197,xxx miles on it and runs great.  I have had it for almost 2 years.  The previous owner had replaced the timing belt at 180K.  I have replaced the master cylinder, oxygen sensor, exhaust (stock, factory Honda stuff), tires and a rear wheel bearing besides the typical maintenance.  I knew the previous owner and he had run Mobil 1 since he got it, so I kept running Mobil 1.  Unlike a lot of other Hondas it does not smoke at all.  I have averaged 35mpg since I got it and I drive it almost 100% around town and at autocrosses.  I have gotten as high as 45mpg and consistently get a little over 40mpg if I drive it on the highway at all or with a soft foot. The car has Falken Azenis tires on it with maybe 20% life left.  You could probably run them until the end of this season before replacing them.  I will throw in a set of spare rims if you want them as well.

Good features
40mpg, no problem
"Low mileage" (for a Honda)
Full interior
New, stock exhaust with catalytic converter
Sunroof works perfectly
Great mechanical condition
Stong, consistent compression
Surprisingly quick and fun to drive
No major rust

Bad features
Dents on the drivers side front and rear fenders
Paint is mediocre (the hood is faded)
Small hole in passenger seat (about the size of a nickel)
No radio
No AC
Rear trailing arm bushings should be replaced

Overall this would make a great autocross car for someone or even just a nice second car.  I would drive it every day if it had air conditioning and I wouldn't hesitate to drive it across the country.  I need to sell it because between my girlfriend and I we have 5 cars.

I will be glad to send detailed pictures to anyone, just send me your email address.

Please email me or call me if you are interested.  I don't check the forum as often as I should and I usually don't notice that I have U2U messages for several weeks.

Thanks,
Justin

I know!  I put it on Craigslist and within 20 minutes talked to a few interested people.  Less than an hour after posting it someone looked at it, test drove it to an ATM and brought back a deposit.  He is supposed to be bringing the rest of the money today now that the bank is open.  Now I can buy another set of wheels and sticky tires for my new car   Grin

Craigslist can be an easy way to find stuff. You just have to separate a lot of chaff to find the wheat. Matt dunked his phone in a Diet Coke. He wasn't due for a new phone and I fond one with AC and car chargers on Craigslist for $35. Works great. Hell of a lot cheaper than anywhere else I could find one.

It's part RSX and part 1995 Civic CX...I already bought a KPro for it.  If I can get the wiring sorted out I should have it running in July.
