Looking to get rid of my Corvette. It was raced as a RP with the old SCCC and has ran a few VMSC autocross events.
It is an RP based on a 69 convertible, has L88 fenders and hood and full cage. Powered by a pro built dry sump road racing engine. Car is full of go fast parts. I have had the car since the late 70's, car is in primer and I had planned to make into a street rod some day.  At my age those days are gone, so if anyone is interested in learning more about it my email is below. Open to all offers.
Thanks

This Spring I will be selling (4) 275/35-15 Hoosier A-7's. More than 1/2 tread life left with many fast runs remaining. New price is over $300 each plus shipping. I'm asking $100 each and prefer to sell as set of 4.
757 463-7294. Located in VA Beach but "may" be able to deliver to Richmond area events.

1990 Civic SI for sale, excellent autocross car it is a pure STS build.  It has won many Championships here at VMSC.  Very well taken care of.  It is very near nationally competitive. Too many upgrades to list. $5,500. 804 614 6009, Call or Text Mike

Well now that I've installed them I must say they are basically plug-and-play.  Not bad at all for $89 and guaranteed for life.

German engineering is ALWAYS overdone.

Yes, those brands are a known quality.  I bought a HID set with bulb and ballast from the only outfit that provided a lifetime guarantee.  The ballast are German made.

Man after working on the Passat (lemons car} I feel German engineering is over engineering everything! Very difficult to work on. So ballast that are German made are over engineered and probably expensive. Just a guess, lol.

I replaced the HID bulbs on the Cayenne, and got a set from ebay, make sure you get either philips or osram.

Cheers

One of the HID's was out on Beth's M3 so I went to investigate.  I know NOTHING about HID lights so I have to go thru the learning curve.  There sure is a lot of cheap parts out there, probably poor quality too.

Does anyone have a good experience with a particular brand?

Curt
