I'm still not in the results. it's not a huge deal because i'm not going for points, but it would be nice to see where i ended up with a certainty.

John Your in the results as number 65, I don't really know what happened with your entry. anyhow looks like you did pretty good. I also moved Lonnie out of AM and put him in CS, I put keath is ssp too. use the links like I posted earlier to access gunny oh that makes sense. 65 is the number i registered with but i changed it at the event. thanks for working it out. sorry for the trouble.

sorry for the trouble, and thanks for the effort. no hard feelings if i don't make it in.

General / Classifieds / tire trade feeler. r1rs for...
|

my 195-50-15 r1r's have about 34 runs on them give or take 2. they were all put on within two separate events late last year and stored in my bed room. i'm having trouble putting down good times with them because they're so different than what i'm used to and they're wearing faster than i can afford. they still have the majority of their competitive live left though so i thought i might throw it out there to see if anyone has any kuhmo xs's or starspecs in 205 with some wear on them that they'd trade for these. they're definitely the most competitive tire for the class but i'm just not really liking them.
i'm sure that by the time they're worn out i'll have figured out how to drive them but i want tires i can drive now. this may be my last season for a while so i want to have as much fun as possible.
i'd definitely be down to compensate differences in wear with cash.

i'm a believer in using the lightest cold weight oil you can possibly find. it circulates better on start up. i use mobil 0-w40 all year around. as far as i've been able to tell, i think that should be a great oil for just about any car. the 0 isn't "too thin" because when it's cold, it's still more viscous than the 40 allows it to be when hot.

dropped a transmission off the jack while changing the clutch one time. no real injury but it was really stiff and swollen for a few days. than and the hands are always covered with scars!!
tough luck on the finger though. i've been fortunate so far to have never suffered a broken bone.
