526  General / Open Forum / BIll's new Camaro on: January 16, 2006, 05:21:13 PM
Not yet...they've GOT to do something with that front end. The tail lights could use a little work too. Regardless, I hope they bring it back.
527  General / Classifieds / truck for sale.... on: January 09, 2006, 06:20:20 PM
I'm selling my short bed '84 F150. It's a 4X4 XL model with a HO 351 4bbl. It has a C-6 trans, and a limited slip 9 inch rear with 3.50 gears. AC, PS, PB, PW, PL, TW, dual tanks, AM/FM-CD with Sony speakers. New Pro-Comp shocks, new belts, hoses, radiator, cap, rotor, plugs, brake rotors, calipers, pads, shoes, hoses, master cylinder, trailer hitch. The carb was rebuilt a year ago, the rear main replaced, as well as the pan gasket, intake gasket, crank seal, valve cover gasket. AC Bed liner and rubber mat. New 31-10.50 tires. The AC has been converted to 134. The engine is rated at 210hp, and 305 ft lb torque. I'm asking $3250.00 or best reasonable offer. I have over 5,000.00 in it, with the receipts to prove it.

A board member would have to witness the parent's signature, I think. Where is this guy located? Maybe one of us could swing by. We have the waivers with the registration stuff.

John Schickler gave the club that one I believe. His daughter was a cheerleader, and that's what they used to write on their vehicles. You were probably in the right section at Michael's.

You should have been informed there was a problem long before your final run. I'm sorry you were not, and I'm sorry for any confusion on a course I OD'd. This issue glaringly points out a shortcoming in our "customer service" area.

538  General / Open Forum / Just incredible on: November 10, 2005, 03:23:32 PM
If I were on a bike and was passed by a van, I would either sue the manufacturer, or assume the whole thing was rigged.

Kerry Flynn should be in F/S rather than D/S. Thanks for ruining our "cookout".
540  Events / Autocross / Bill and Tom\'s Excellent Adventure on: November 04, 2005, 04:55:20 PM
Actually, the same gentleman, (Pasha), who handles on line registration also does the results. Like all of us working types, he fits in VMSC business when he can. So the time varies from a matter of hours to a week or so. After 10 days we'll light the torches and storm his home.
541  Events / Autocross / Bill and Tom\'s Excellent Adventure on: November 03, 2005, 09:11:49 AM
keep it up dummy. Remember, your dear old Dad had a lot to do with you being there Sunday. One more comment, and I'll whip YOU in the,(yours, mine, our?), Integra. :wtf:
542  Events / Autocross / Bill and Tom\'s Excellent Adventure on: November 01, 2005, 03:05:59 PM
A big thank you from the OD's to Rod McGeorge for his assistance in with the course design. And a thanks to all who helped, especially Bill Whitehead, and Gene Cooley who helped and didn't even run.
543  General / Open Forum / i'm doing an autox project at school on: October 31, 2005, 03:24:57 PM
Rats, I thought it might be a "real world" project like an oil pan gasket replacement.
544  General / Open Forum / Economic advantage on: October 29, 2005, 05:13:39 AM
Install a Flux Capacitor in your Dakota, set the time travel for 20-40 years. Buy a new car at 1965-1985 prices, sell it upon your return to 2005 at current prices. Live happily ever after. Problem solved.  On your way back to 2005,  see if you can figure where Patrick lost his keys at the last VMP event.

547  General / Autos and Autosport / A little Corvette trivia.... on: October 28, 2005, 03:52:31 PM
Okay, how many ZL-1 Camaros were built?
548  General / Autos and Autosport / Does this region have SM2? on: October 28, 2005, 06:52:20 AM
We haven't had much activity in the class, but we do recognize it.
549  General / Autos and Autosport / A little Corvette trivia.... on: October 28, 2005, 06:45:51 AM
More trivia.........

1. When was the "ZL-1" Corvette introduced?

2. How many were made?
550  General / Autos and Autosport / A little Corvette trivia.... on: October 28, 2005, 06:44:35 AM
You are correct. I didn't know that, personally.  A friend had an '80 L-82 with a 4 speed, and I confused myself. I remember a California emissions car with a 305 and an auto being tested in the early '80's and limping to a mid 16 second quarter mile. My, how things have changed.
