Must have been the car in front of you.......

JK I will fix it .....

haven't gone over all the paper sheets yet.

 Anyone else  !

Yes, I don't think the timing was working for this time either.

Jokes aside, I am glad we got a shot of Paul's fastest run.  I felt bad for him there for a little while after seeing the run

27  Events / Autocross / Re: Oct 19th TSCC Autocross a Points autocross for VMSC? on: September 23, 2014, 05:33:39 PM
My vote would be no. Back to back weekends and being a ways away is a 1-2 punch.
28  Results / Autocross / Re: Results Sep 21 2014 on: September 23, 2014, 01:42:41 PM
Are cones hit on a lap granting a re-run added to the next run?

I hit a cone on a lap when the timer wasn't working and then my next run was my fastest and thought it was clean but results show a +2 for it.

yes, cones carry over now.
29  Events / Autocross / Oct 19th TSCC Autocross a Points autocross for VMSC? on: September 23, 2014, 07:24:11 AM

As the title states, is the Oct 19th TSCC Autocross a Points autocross for VMSC?  I apologize if this has already been covered.

Thanks,
30  Events / Autocross / Re: Can we time all the runs on this upcoming practice? on: September 15, 2014, 06:42:34 PM

I think you're confusing a practice autox with the school.  There's no pressure at any time
at a practice event, unless you bring your own.   Smiley

All runs are timed, but there are no guarantees that all times will be correct or even saved
(though they normally are).  Takes some pressure off the timing folks, some of whom may
be just learning the system, not to mention the computer can only hold a limited # of runs.

Oops. You're right.
31  Events / Autocross / Can we time all the runs on this upcoming practice? on: September 10, 2014, 03:35:09 AM

I know that we normally don't time the morning session of practice events to take some pressure off, but I was wonder if we could offer timing to those who want it
32  General / Open Forum / Re: Swiss Hill climb some fun to watch on: August 04, 2014, 05:26:34 PM
I really want to to do a hill climb, any one interested in doing the Chasing the Dragon hill climb in NC next spring?
33  Results / Autocross / Re: Results from July 13 2014 on: July 14, 2014, 09:30:07 AM
Close event!  Sorry you couldn't join us Chris. Gunny I'm not letting you beat me by .01 seconds again.
34  Results / Autocross / Re: Mid-Year (Unofficial) 2014 Season Standings on: July 14, 2014, 04:40:26 AM
At least I have a shot at a manufacturer title, or does there have to be more than one to qualify?
I assume by your avatar that you have the yellow 355. At this time, I do not think there is a Ferrari trophy, but if there were, I think we could group it together as the "exotics" trophy, which could include:

Ferrari
Lotus
Lamborghini
Maserati
Panoz
Noble
etc etc etc..

Most of these car seldom ever make a appearance at a AutoX though (except Lotus?)

That was a bit tongue in cheek as apparently I'm the only one dumb enough to actually drive their Ferrari (the horror), but I can donate some broken Ferrari (FIAT marked up 10x) parts for a trophy.

This man deserves a trophy, also if I ever beat him I might need to make myself a "I beat a Ferrari" trophy or at least a t shirt.

Thanks for bringing the cart out.  That gopro video looks just as violent as it does watching that thing.  How's your back?
36  General / Classifieds / Re: WTB: 1997-2002 Boxster for cheap on: July 13, 2014, 12:26:28 PM
If you're willing to wait I should have one with a blown motor or some other catostraphic failure soon...
37  General / Open Forum / Re: Anyone have a tidewater registration? I need Steve Fehr's email on: June 27, 2014, 02:19:53 PM
I did register but I can send a message to a member or post anything in the for sale area until I get to a certain post count
38  General / Open Forum / Anyone have a tidewater registration? I need Steve Fehr's email on: June 27, 2014, 01:20:53 PM
I'm trying to email Steve about his sway bar but I can't IM, email or reply to his listing since I just registered on their site.  Does anyone have his email or have a registration that will let you reply?

39  Results / Autocross / Re: Mid-Year (Unofficial) 2014 Season Standings on: June 26, 2014, 10:43:02 AM
I get it now thanks.  And Engelbert next year I'm coming for your Porsche Trophy! The only thing that stands in my way is finding a pile of driver skill and cash!

By the way are the speed points kept any where?  I can't imagine how difficult it is to stay on top of all of this.
40  Results / Autocross / Re: Mid-Year (Unofficial) 2014 Season Standings on: June 25, 2014, 01:33:50 PM
All of these points are used for trophies at the end of the season. There are a few ways to trophy:

Top 5 Street
Top 5 Street Mod.
Top 5 Modified
and Marquis trophies for the most speed points driven in a certain brand of car.

The stats that I am showing here are for overall points. The number of trophies for overall points will be determined at the end of the season, and members get to take advantage of this.

Great thanks.  So since these points include meetings, schools, etc everything really is a competitive event(since they effect your standing at the end of the year)?
41  Results / Autocross / Re: Mid-Year (Unofficial) 2014 Season Standings on: June 25, 2014, 06:52:05 AM
What is this used for?  I'm not in the runner for the winner of anything I'm just curious.  Is the winner of each class pulled from this list or is it only the points acrude during the actual races?
42  General / Open Forum / 1982 Autocross TV coverage on: June 13, 2014, 04:39:36 AM
Did anyone else see this on Jalopnik? It's an 1982 TV coverage of an autocross. You can see how far tires have come!

43  General / Classifieds / S2000 Track wheels and tires for $400...Not mine but found them on Craigslist on: June 12, 2014, 03:58:42 PM

Maybe I'm just used to seeing Porsche prices, but this seems like an awesome deal.  Plus it'll push you fast S2000's out of my class! ...I think

Langdon Gagne posted on the VMSC facebook page with a link to some photos he took on Saturday:
http://www.camerapoetica.com/autocross6-2014-01.html

Thank you, Langdon!  They look great - hope you come back!   Smiley

I haven't seen all of them yet, but I hope Stu checks out the last one of the Boxster on page 2 [of 3].
That has got to be one of the coolest 'poses' I've seen in ages.   (Looking at some of the other pics,
you may also be shopping for new tires soon....  lol)

haha, not the fastest route for sure!  That practice was so much fun, thanks to everyone that came out and helped work the event especially those of you taking these excellent shots.

46  Events / Autocross / Re: 2014 Schedule and ODs on: June 02, 2014, 08:38:16 AM

I'd like to start helping out if more people are needed.  Maybe I can be an intern this year and start shadowing timing or something.  Let me know if there is anything I can do to help.

47  Results / Autocross / Re: First Quarter (Unofficial) 2014 Season Standings on: May 27, 2014, 09:52:43 AM
Is there anyway to see class specific standing?

Thanks,
Stu

Nice work!  Is Jeffery the tidewater sports car club guy with the silver boxster?  That guy is incredable.
49  Events / Autocross / Re: PCA RPM Autocross Southside Speedway on: May 21, 2014, 07:40:27 AM
