Title: Road Atlanta - ChumpCar Video
Post by: Nismo0161 on February 18, 2016, 04:53:05 PM
A few laps from my stint in the ChumpCar World Series “14 Hours at Road Atlanta” at Road Atlanta, Braselton, Georgia on 2/6/2016. First time out since the motor swap. We spent about 5 hours leading the field of 107 cars that included pro drivers like Randy Pobst. We had a few mechanical issues and we lost the overall lead. We ended up with 1st place in our Class “D” and placed 15th overall. Great job Team River City Racing. We are headed to Watkins Glen in late May.

Like that video. Love the 2 car split at the 2:46 mark.

Thanks, the car really handled great. It gave you a ton of confidence everywhere on the track. That big rear wing and front splitter kept the car planted in the corners.

sweet video. I want to be a pro racer one day.
Is that gauge in the top left a carbon monoxide meter? I noticed the bio-hazard sticker next to it.

That is an analog clock, The biohazard sticker is the logo from another Chump Team, Team Biohazard. They run a sick MR2. We did need a carbon monoxide meter that race, we had the passenger side exhaust flange come loose and fumes were getting into the car. That caused a long pit stop to find some nuts and bolt it back in place.
