The next Autocross...June 15th (also Father's Day) at RIR...is now open for registration.

Grrrr ... permanent number registration still doesn't work.   
 (or at least mine still doesn't #44)
Is this a global problem or does the system just not like me?

It doesn't appear to be a widespread issue - unless you have changed your email since the original permanent number registration "event"

You should be able to "edit" you entry and get it to the right number - if you can't let me know and I can change it for you

I think the issue is you did not "register" for the permanent number event so myautoevents doesn't know you are #44 - check with Dennis to make sure you are on his permanent number list and we will figure out how to get you on the myautoevents list also

Thanks to Keath for figuring this one out for me (and all of us):

My e-mail address changed since I signed up for the permanent-number pseudo-event back in February, so I dutifully put my new e-mail address into my profile.  But then the e-mail address the system associates with my permanent number no longer mached the one in my profile.

I can't edit my permanent-number entry, so I set my profile back to its old value and could register just fine with my number.  Of course I won't get my any confirmation mail, but at least I can register!  Flip-flopping my profile is clumsy, but it works.

The registrar should be able to delete your old entry from the permanent number event and then add you back as a mail in entry with your new email address and everything should work
