I have some video of the March autocross but it's stuck on my Sony Handycam (DCR-TRV350). I know in the past I had no trouble downloading video from the camera to my older laptop. However, since my last attempt that laptop has fried and we are just using the desktop which has a Vista OS.  Problem also is that there are no drivers for Vista from Sony. Does anyone have any suggestions/work-arounds or perhaps next event I could give someone a Hi-8 tape to download and post for our viewing pleasure!

The tape has some great shots of me of course, some of my buddy Chris Caan in the Mazdaspeed 3, a great clip of Courtney's off course 360' followed by a nice cone massacre  Tongue, and several other peoples' runs. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!
Eric

I do a lot of videos and Sony says it should be compatible

Did you just connect it and try to automatically load or did you run movie maker and then connect? The second approach usually works for me when something won't behave. I used to use DV until I switched to a ChaseCam and SD cards, so couldn't help you with the tape directly but my laptop is still XP so we could try that if you get desparate
