Just a general question.  Would our club qualify me for this from Hankook Tires

http://www.hankooktireusa.com/motor/motor_contingency_forms.asp

or Just Jon's Nasa group when they run.

Just a quick glance at the PDF for NASA says that autocross is probably not covered.  It mentions NASA Pro Racing Program which I don't think covers the Autocross program.

I don't think VMSC qualifies you for any contingency program at this time.

Over heard at a recent club meeting: "Isn't dyno'ing a Miata like seeing how much weight a Super Model can lift??"

Most contingency programs I've seen only apply to regional championships or national competitions.

Correct, the only NASA events getting Hankook contingency payouts are roadracing and time trials (all regionals per race/per day, plus the national championships at Mid-Ohio in September.)  Nothing for autocross, unfortunately.

It's a pretty sweet deal for our regional TT's though, basically with 5 or more cars in each class you can win as many as 2 free race tires per weekend if you trophy:

Unfortunately I have enough Toyo RA1's to last the rest of the season but I'm planning to try the 'Kooks in '08. Cheesy
