Sorry for the late notice, folks, but THSCC's next rallycross is coming up soon, on Saturday, September 30th.  We'll be back in Four Oaks for this one, and event chairs Kevin and Christine Allen have a few new tricks (or are they treats?) in store for you as well.

We recently realized that not all clubs run their events the way we do.  Here is what you can expect when you come to one of ours:
[list=1]
  • Fast and easy (optional, but encouraged) online pre-registration.
  • Prompt registration on event day.
  • A magnetic dash plaque at registration (usually pretty good looking- see a gallery of recent ones at http://thscc.com/rallycross/events)
  • 6 runs (3 in morning on 1 course, 3 in afternoon on a 2nd course), with a lunch break at midday.
  • Attention to schedule- we know your time is valuable!
  • Official results posted at the lunch break and at the end of the event.
  • A (brief) awards ceremony at the end of the event with good-looking plaques.
  • Results posted on the website usually within 24 hours.

If that sounds like an experience you'd like to have at a rallycross, we would love to give it to you!  Event info is posted for this event at

http://thscc.com/rallycross/events/2006/2006-0930info.html

That fast and easy online pre-registration can be found at

http://thscc.com/rallycross/prereg_rallyx.html

Hope to see y'all there!

Hey y'all,

Just a reminder that our next rallycross is coming up this Saturday.  Just for fun, event chairs Kevin and Christine Allen have decided to add a few "special" features to try to give this a bit of the "big boy rally" flavor.  For example, see below:

Note that this feature will be strictly optional, with no time or distance penalty for going around.

Full event information, including schedule, prices, and directions, can be found here:

http://thscc.com/rallycross/events/2006/2006-0930info.html

Fast and easy online registration (pay with Paypal if you want!) is available here:

http://thscc.com/rallycross/prereg_rallyx.html

Hope to see some of y'all there!

Hi folks,

Sorry for the delay, but results for the latest THSCC rallycross are now posted at

http://thscc.com/rallycross/results

The reason the results are late is because I've been messing with video!  Between Keith Vail and me we got video of most (but unfortunately not all) cars, and I've put together a highlight video and posted it on YouTube at

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S6vhls7fgcs

In the coming days I hope to put together whatever clips I have for each competitor so everyone can download their stuff.  I'll try to keep you posted!

BTW, our next event will be on Saturday, October 28th at the BMW Farm in Clayton, NC.

Hope to see some of y'all there!

Carl
