Aside from making them password protected, there isn't much. It is possible to put a password on the results page. How about a secret handshake? J/k.
It is possible to:
1. Make you log in to the forum or registration section to see results
2. Just put a generic password on the page and provide it on the forums/email
What are the insurance companies doing? Are they dropping people or denying claims? Or are we just trying to limit exposure for possible future incidents?
I'd say we block out the car/leasing companies too like Acura (ahem, Mr. RSX).

I think each individual needs to deal with this on the front end. Let your own level of paranoia be your guide.
For example...
You can put painter's tape over your license plate and get a dark face shield on your helmet for the photos
Register using your "porn star" name (your middle name and the street you grew up on is one formula) so that will show up in the results. Oh, you should still use your real name to sign the waiver.
Rent a ride
Just stay home

The concern is insurance company bots roaming the interent looking for autocross/racing results and grabbing names to use to deny coverage. There were also rumors of Mitsubishi doing this at one point to deny warranty coverage on Evos.
I don't see the downside of requiring a login to see results.

It seems to me that the easiest way is add the link on the registration page. No extra passwords to remember. That way you look up the results as easy as you sign up to race. No one should forget that... One should hope...:evil:

Good thing I drive a Shocker.
Public results could delete cars, private could carry the regular info. Wee bit more work for the results tabulator, but it's pretty minimal.
